Mrs Stathelli leaves the Environment Dept.

We are sorry to record the Departure of Mrs Athena Stathelli
from the Environment Department of the Nomarchia where she has been in charge of
environmental protection. Athena has been a true friend of the environment who
has worked tirelessly against considerable difficulties and opposition to
implement Natura 2000 and to protect the wetlands.
She was always helpful to us and we shall miss her. We wish her every success in
her new post. We hope to have a similar relationship with her successor who has
started well.
