The bigger the membership we have, the greater our ability to achieve our objectives of working to protect and enhance the environment of Lesbos for all.

We aim to achieve our objectives by:

publicising the issues that concern us

lobbying the authorities responsible, including:

	the local government in Mitilini
	the local mayors of the towns and villages
	the national government in Athens
	officials and MEPs in Brussels

coordinating campaigns with other environmental bodies, both national and international

making our work open to scrutiny: this website is our base, and members are encouraged to email us with their views which we will include on the site as and where appropriate
